Abifor is celebrating 65 years

For this, Abifor has received approval for an innovation promotion loan from the state of Baden-Württemberg and is now considered an innovative company with dynamic corporate growth and above-average commitment to research and development. Peter Hinder comments: "We are very pleased that our investments at the Wutöschingen production site are being supported with a development loan. This is a strong sign and helps us in the realisation of our vision." Thus, even after 65 years as an owner-managed company, Abifor AG is and will remain a long-term and reliable partner for its business partners.

After a successful generation change took place in the company management in 2021, Abifor AG is now setting sail for the future. The company is now headed by Peter Hinder, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, and Markus Kohlhof, Head of Sales and Technical Development. The implementation of the strategy defined under the new management duo has begun successfully. The further development and expansion of new business areas, as well as securing jobs in Wutöschingen in southern Germany, are the top priorities for the new management. In this context, various investments in the expansion of production capacities and technical development were released.

The company successfully uses its decades of experience in the technical development and production of hot melt adhesives, which are used in numerous branches of industry. The undisputed strength lies in the know-how of all application forms and areas of thermoplastic adhesives, in application technology directly at the customer's site as well as in finding solutions for bonding a wide variety of materials and carrier media. True to the motto "Everything from a single source", the well-positioned and expert team accompanies the customer from the initial technical development through industrial implementation to commercial and logistical processing.
